Arsenal made their first signing this summer, 17-year-old Elias Chatzitheodoridis.
The Gunners have agreed a deal to sign the Greek youngster after impressing coaching staff during a trial at the club.
The promising left-back, who was playing for local club Mas Kallitheakos, was training part-time at Arsenal academy in Greece and was quickly spotted by club representatives.
Quickly after being spotted, Chatzitheodoridis was sent to the Emirates and, after playing several big-name youth sides, which included Real Madrid, the Gunners decided to snap him up.
And according to Greek publication OnVolos.gr, as reported by Metro, the teenager penned a two-year deal with the north London club and will be placed in the Arsenal youth ranks for the upcoming season to develop and hone his apparent talent.
Not exactly a signing we were all hoping for, but it is one we pretty much expected by Arsene Wenger.
But if the kid has potential then Arsenal is the place to be.
