Dominik FurmanArsenal are keen to sign Legia Warsaw’s Dominik Furman but could wait until the summer to make a bid for the 21-year-old, according to the Daily Mail.

Furman, who primarily plays in a defensive midfield role, has been with Legia Warsaw since 2005 starting off as a youth academy product. It was only in 2009 when the Polish youngster broke into the senior side and has since then has made 46 appearances for the Polish outfit.

He has become an important player for Legia Warsaw and although he has yet to score this season, his performances have helped the club reach the top of the Ekstraklasa.

Furman has been capped twice by the Poland national team, but has featured more regularly for the Under-21 side, being capped nine times and bagging a goal along the way.

Although Arsenal have a number of midfielders, they do lack defence-minded ones.

Mathieu Flamini remains the only recognizable defensive midfielder in the squad and although Mikel Arteta has adopted this role since his arrival from Everton in 2011, Arsene Wenger may look to add someone who is natural in the position.
