It’s been a fantastic four months for The Gunners, sitting on top of both their Champions League group and the Premier League after 13 games.
Despite our loss to Manchester United in mid-November, we have been in scintillating form and look like, for the first time in a long while, genuine title contenders (although some still believe we are not). It’s a long way to go still but so far so good from our lads in red and white.
Next up is the home visit of Hull City, a game Arsene Wenger’s charges are expected to win considering our form as of late. However, with the Christmas period coming up and a congested fixture list approaching this will show if indeed Arsenal can be taken seriously this season and challenge for the Premier League, and it starts with Hull City tomorrow night at the Emirates.
So taking this into consideration, should Wenger rotate or make changes to his current side?
It’s been reported that the Frenchman is set to do so, with the likes of Jack Wilshere, Kieran Gibbs and even Mesut Ozil all set to be rested. But should he?
Bacary Sagna is set to miss the gain after picking up a hamstring injury and Lukas Podolski is back in training after months on the sidelines. Other than this, the squad remain the same in personnel.
Squad rotation is part of the game and is seen regularly during the winter period, but when things are going your way they say you should never change a winning team.
I can understand IF Wenger decides to rest a few players for this game, but we shouldn’t underestimate Hull City.
With that said here is the line-up I hope to see Wenger put out tomorrow night against The Tigers:
Szczesny
Jenkinson Mertesacker Koscielny Gibbs
Flamini
Ramsey Wilshere
Walcott Ozil Cazorla
Giroud
Jenkinson comes in for Sagna, but the back four should remain the same.
I would give Theo Walcott a start. This would be a good game for him to get game time after returning from injury, while Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey Ozil and Wilshere feed and deliver service to Olivier Giroud.
Gain a healthy lead then take three of them off. I hate when Wenger puts out a weaker side against a lesser team (no offence Hull City fans) and we struggle and eventually he brings on his better performers. Always start with your strongest side, regardless of the opposition’s ability.

Flamini – Wilshere
Gnabry – Cazorla – Rosicky
Walcott
Need the squad rested and refreshed for 3 crucial games next week, Everton, Napoli and City. This starting 11 should be more than enough for Hull in my view!
What a line with 12 player. It shows poor analysis and luck of understanding the game.
What a line up with 12 players. It shows poor analysis and luck of understanding the game and players themselves.

We need to rest Ozil, Wilshere, Ramsey, Gibbs and the BFG. Cazorla is mesmerizing behind the striker, remember he played there all last season. This team should beat Hull and we can bring the big guns in for Sunday.
12 players… Lets start with that team!! SMH
