The need to sign a real powerhouse midfielder has been on top of our list since the start of the transfer window this summer.
Marouane Fellaini has been heavily linked with a move to The Emirates this summer, with his £23 million release clause yet to be triggered by The Gunners, or anyone else for that matter.
However, it is rumored that Arsene Wenger is prepared to offer Everton cash upfront plus Aaron Ramsey who has failed to live up to expectation since his leg break a few years ago against Stoke.
Ramsey is valued at around £7 million by the club and are ready to offer the Welshaman to the The Toffees plus £17 million in order to get their hands on Fellaini, though Roberto Martinez is reluctant to let his star player leave and would, if he were to sell him, rather receive the full amount of cash upfront.
But would this be a good deal to push forward?
It’s hard to say. I like Ramsey and it would be sad to see him leave. But should this be the only way we can land Fellaini this summer, without the need to dish out the full £23 million, then I say let’s press on with this proposed deal and use the Welsh midfielder to sweeten the deal.
Ramsey had a few solid games for us last season, but the constant out of position starts he’s had under Wenger, which have led to some of his not so good performances, may not end. Its best we ship him out and bring in the big Belgian before another club decides to snap him up from under our noses.

Arsen wenger is the major problem arsenal fc is havin in d the transfer market,he makes me get anoy any time he place price tag on a player he wanted. he discover hazard,mata,etc but price them as if he is buying tomatoes. at the end he wil wait until the last night b4 he wil purchase the rejected ones.plz,somebody shuld advice this man b4 is to late for the transfer window

YES do this deal and do it quick. Ramsey is not good enough to wear an arsenal shirt. Don’t get me wrong i like Ramsey and think if he didnt break his leg he would be an amazing player by now but he cowers away from 50/50 challenges and give the ball away to easierly. Not sure how fellaini will do in our squad but I would be very excited to see it.
Please Wenger don’t sell Ramsey. We love him and he loves Arsenal. He is improving in each and every game. Just buy Fellain, Higuan,Benteke and Ceasar with the cash you have. Amen.
This is paper talk Wenger knows the value of Ramsey well and will never do that. If Fellaini is valued at 23mil then Ramsey must be around 20mil coz apart from size what makes him better? Ramsey is getting to the level we bought him for before the horrific injury and he is proving to be our future mainstay
I trust wenger. Afterall hes an economist and any intelligent economist does business in silence. Higuain will definitely sign and more will follow cesar. Dont know about feliani overrated. But I feel 70 mil n beyond will be spent. Wenger qas waiting for this financial security with stadium sponsors etc. Now time for then young talents to step up coz wages will be dependent on performance and class of the player. As a solid arsenal fan I cannot wait. Eight years still waiting. Trust me gents it be worth the wait.
