Gunners set to be left disappointed again? Looks like it

|

JoveticSo Gonzalo Higuain looks set to join Juventus, having already agreed terms with the Serie A champions, and it seems another one of Arsene Wenger’s summer targets is set to follow the Real Madrid striker there as well.

The Daily Star today claim Stevan Jovetic wants to remain in Italy if he leaves Fiorentina, with Juventus his preferred destination.

The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to The Emirates, with reports suggesting he is set to join The Gunners.

However, it seems the Montenegro international has not set his sights on a move to Arsenal; instead, the forward wants to join Juventus if he were to leave Fiorentina this summer.

A source close to Jovetic said:

‘Arsenal may think they’re going to sign Stevan but it’s very unlikely. He loves living and playing in Italy and prefers Juve.

‘For most people in Montenegro, Serie A is the biggest league in football – and more important to them than the English Premier League.’

Only a few days ago it appeared that both Higuain and Jovetic were heading to The Emirates. But now it seems both are keen on a move to Juve.

Many of you reading this will say ‘The Daily Star isn’t a reliable source’, which may well be the case. But there are several reports around the web suggesting Jovetic will snub a move to Arsenal if Juventus step in for him.

So with Higuain and Jovetic supposedly keen on moves to Juve, who does Wenger turn his attention to?

This remains to be seen.

No shock for me that we may not get these two players,we might not have or been in for them. Who thinks we are going to sign world class players or top top players that wenger says like cavani these two mentioned above rooney etc etc. Shirt money from emirates and puma though not confirmed for puma yet or not.Just not arsenal way never have been big money spenders on single players. Plus theres a lot of competion on a financial front thoughout Europe for worldclass players also.

Speculatioons and more speculations. Arsenal are probably not interested in both players. Having signed Llorente and with three other strikers in their current squad, where would Juve use Jovetic and Higuain?

  • RobM says:

Oh no. We might not sign two players that nobody ever actually confirmed we were signing. I’m heartbr… oh no sorry I can’t keep this up.

Who cares about these nonsensical rumours. I care about who is in our squad when the next season starts, not about whatever trash rumours the media is pushing this week purely in an attempt to shift newspapers

no top class player will ever come to a visionless club like arsenal.coming to arsenal is the same as going to aston villa or any lesser club.losers have one thing in common;selling their best players to top clubs.as far as I’m concerned, arsenal will never win any trophy under useless wenger and aimless boardmembers!!!!
