Real Madrid are ready to offload Karim Benzema in the summer, with Manchester City, Arsenal and Juventus all said to be keen on the French striker.
Portuguese publication Record say reports in Italy are claiming that Benzema will be heading out of the Santiago Bernabeu following a mixed season which has seen him net 17 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions – a very indifferent campaign to his previous one which saw the France international bag an impressive 33 goals in a total of 42 appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side.
Arsene Wenger is known to be a keen admirer of Benzema, whose contract at Real Madrid expires in 2015, and has been linked with a move for the 25-year-old once again.
Despite the summer acquisitions of Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud, many still believe Wenger wants/needs to bolster his attacking options ahead of next season’s campaign, and the Frenchman will more than likely show his interest in the Real Madrid striker if he becomes available at the end of the season.
But taking into account that Benzema still has two years left to run on his existing contract, the Frenchman will not come on the cheap, meaning Wenger will have to be willing to open his cheque book and potentially break the club’s transfer record to acquire the former Lyon man.

Definitely a player that would give arsenal that frightening attack again that we have always had also get in jocovic and a dm in coupe or strootman and a cb hard tackling and hungary to impress with a winners mentality probley spend 70 million but with selling aload of shit we got clinging on could probly get bk about 35-40 so we would only b spending 30-35 million but be so much stronger and have a team capable of challenging at the very top again where we belong come on arsenal make this happen were not asking for much just a chance to fight again and be a force we already play great football on r day dont want it tobe every now and then.
