Here are 10 things you should know about Arsenal and Reading ahead of their Premier League encounter this afternoon at The Emirates:
1. In their last 11 competitive meetings against Reading, Arsenal have won all of them, including two wins already this season.
2. 19 goals have already been scored when Arsenal and Reading have met this season.
3. The Gunners have averaged the highest possession figure in the Premier league this season (57.9%), while Reading in turn have the lowest with 39.4%.
4. Arsenal have not lost a game this season that they have taken the lead in, recording 14 wins and two draws.
5. Arsenal without Jack Wilshere in the side is a telling one. The Gunners have only won 36% of their Premier League games without JW, compared to 56% with him.
6. Arsenal would be TOP of the league by four points if only the second-half of Premier League games counted. However, if games ended at half-time then Arsene Wenger’s side would lie in 12th position.
7. Only two goals have been conceded by Arsenal after the 75th minute of Premier League games, a league low.
8. Reading have conceded more Premier League goals against Arsenal (16) than any other opponent in the league this season.
9. Reading have conceded the most goals in the Premier League thus far (57).
10. Reading have faced the most shots at goal than any other side in the top five European leagues this season (531).

Don’t think Reading as easy meat. Under a new manager, they will play anti soccer. If Arsenal can create chances but not convert thru overplay, don’t be surprised Reading nick a goal and hold on to win.
The buck stops with Wenger. His stylish soccer maybe ajoy to watch but fans come to see a winning team not one that can’t even beat a lowly team struggling against relegation. The last two games have given grounds for optimism but the gunners need to string a run of victories.
Then we shall see.
Even with Salsa and Rhumba we will crush or win simple.
its under must to win them so as to move up,up gunners.
Yawn…..
Giroud says we must keep hold of our top stars. What a genius he is. Obviously he is talking about Wilshere because there is no one else that is worth much at the club (big thumbs up to Wenger and the board on selling all of our best players – We all hope that you are enjoying the money from that..)
All the players who have left in recent years agitated for their transfers. Not one of them said that they were sold against their will .Sod the lot of them, they bottled 3 league title a european cup semi and countless donestic cup matches in the last 6 years
