Why can’t this materialize?

The transfer link ‘Radamel Falcao to Arsenal’ stormed the whole internet world last week, and I’m pretty sure a lot of the Gooner faithful would’ve been pleased to hear a player of the Colombian’s calibre linked to The Gunners.

The 26-year-old striker was strongly linked with a move away from the Vicente Calderon last summer, with Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal all cited as a possible destinations.

But the move couldn’t be materialized largely due to his reported £48 million buy-out clause and Atletico Madrid’s strong will to hold on to him.

With news that Arsene Wenger has recently been entrusted with at least £35million to strengthen his squad during the winter transfer window, there seems to be no qualms about the possibility of a new face in the Arsenal squad. This new face could possibly be that which we all dream of, Radamel Falcao.

The Colombian international has been a joy to watch this season, with his goal tally now up to 11 in just seven matches for his club.

I believe most people would have seen him play. But for those who haven’t, he is a typical poacher, a proven goal scorer, with great heading ability and fairly ambidextrous. He is also very strong, technically gifted and well composed on and off the pitch.

The Atletico Madrid hitman could however join any of the Manchester twins or our very own blue neighbour, considering their recent money splash and squad revolution.

Wenger is also widely renowned for his disinclination to signing players that command a transfer fee beyond £17million.

Only time will tell when Wenger will change, and fans will start to feel enthusiastic whenever a world class player is linked with their club, whatever the transfer fee may be

Who said no? No one saw the Santi Cazorla transfer coming, did they?

Falcao could be taken along a similar path to mark the beginning of an entirely new era at The Emirates.

I hope the manager gets to make Falcao a priority in January because with him on board, Arsenal would certainly look more deadly upfront.

Falcao at Arsenal, nothing would be more better!

actually a player of this calibre would rate van persie to zero and would help to rub out the pain of loosing our goal scoring machine to our bitter rivals.am sure of us of lifting as many trophies as possible with the addition of this talented player.

he wont go united cos they cant afford him and already have 4 strikers, city have 4 strikers already, doubt they will buy another, chelsea, i dont think even they can afford to have a 40mmill+ striker on the bench, so arsenal looks a real possibility if wenger wants to spend the money to get him

Would very much love to see him in our Arsenal colors come january& shame all th Arsene doubters out there & help my beloved team lift loads & loads of silverware which we r very much longing for, if le-Prof cant break th bank in bringing Falcao to the Emirates then Lorente another proven goal scorer is another option. With any of th above mentioned strickers believe u me th Gunners wil be a team th manchesters, chelseas, barcas n madrids of this world wil be very much scared of. GUNNER FOR LIFE.

Why are some press doubting arsenal ability to recruit falcao? For their knowledge arsenal is the fourth richest club in the world and it’s only a matter of changing our policies and we can buy any player. It wont surprise me at all to see falcao in red and white come winter. Come on Wenger, let it happen!!

Radamel Falcao represents the purity of an out and out striker in modern day football. It’ll be great to have this guy at arsenal. He might still join us despite the odds being agains us taking into consideration wengers transfer policy and the need for the manchester twins to have millions of pounds sitting idly on their bench. If he does, I’ll really be glad.

Wait a second! Falcao at Arsenal playing with Wilshere, Carzola and indomitable Arteta, Boy! Bring on anybody and I mean anybody. Kai.

  • sexy fernandez says:

Rafamel Falcao! Great striker and he wuld be a fantastic addition 4 us but on my part, I wuld rather we focus on getting a striker who is not in D limelight @ D moment like Falcao but is a great striker as well. Dat striker is Edison Cavani. We stand a greater chance of getting him, considering oda clubs re not on his case like dey re on Falcao. Also, Napoli it has bn rumoured re interested in getting Djourhou, so we can put him along with 25M 2 test napoli’s resolve

  • podge says:

answer… because even tho we may have the money to sign him, he would want wages that would well exceed our wage structure.

  • Dozzy says:

Face it guys…u know arsenal cant afford it…arsene cant spend 20m on one player let alone 48m..this is arsenal we are talkin about
