Arsenal linked with AC Milan enforcer

Reports in Germany have linked our club with a January move for AC Milan midfielder Kevin Prince-Boateng.

Now whilst this would be a massive move by Arsenal, I just don’t see this ‘link’ turning into a transfer, and here’s why:

1. We already have an array of talented midfielders at disposal, and we still are awaiting the return of Jack Wilshere!

2. Milan will obviously command a huge transfer fee for Boateng, one which we will not entertain.

3. He’s an Ex-Tottenham player. Now whilst I don’t really care about this, some Gooners out there still think it’s the 90’s.

4. I think he would favour Manchester United or City over us (big wages, chance of acquiring silverware)

5. Do we really need him?

German newspaper TZ suggests the Ghanaian has grown frustrated at the San Siro after the Italian club sold Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva over the summer, as well as allowing Milan legends Gennaro Gattuso, Alessandro Nesta and Clarence Seedorf, and may look to leave as early as January.

Like I said before, it would be a great signing for our club as he is a top player, one which is tenacious, powerful on the ball and has great technical ability.

But do we really need him? I don’t think so. There are other areas that need improving this winter.
