LOL – this is what I did when I read that Juventus cheekily made an £8 million, yes £8 million, bid for Robin van Persie.
Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport have fabricated what can only be described as a ridiculous rumour, one that will undoubtedly make every Gooner worldwide have a good laugh. Unsurprisingly, the report claims that the Gunners rejected the offer at hand.
If the 28-year-old is not going to sign a new deal this summer then I believe Arsenal should not run the risk of losing the Dutchman on a free after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
IF, and this is a big if, we are going to sell Robin this summer then it will most definitely have to be around four or five times the amount that the Italian champions audaciously offered.
I would hate to see him leave, but if he isn’t going to commit his future to the club then we might as well get as much as we can for him this summer.
