Arsenal youngster Benik Afobe looks set for another loan move this summer, with Birmingham City thought to be interested.

The 19-year-old was sidelined for nine months with a knee injury and is all but certain to leave The Emirates on a temporary deal as he looks to get his career back on track.

The highly-rated forward suffered the injury during pre-season last year, but finished the season off on loan at newly promoted Reading, where he made three appearances.

But Afobe may have to go out on loan to another Championship side, with Birmingham manager Lee Clark making a tentative enquiry about his availability last month.

Clark knows off Afobe’s ability, having signed him for Huddersfield in 2010, where the England Under-19 international scored eight goals in 32 matches, during three stints at the club throughout that season.

Afobe’s future wil more than likely be sorted out when he returns to London next week, after featuring for England in the Under-19 Euros in Estonia.

I think it would make sense for the youngster to go out on loan again this season, as I don’t think he would get a look in at Arsenal if he stays.

After such a lengthy time off through injury, Afobe needs to get back on track and the Championship is arguably the place to be for young talent who want to gain experience and prove to their parent clubs that they are ready to make the grade.

Mark my words..(not worlds), you ignorant idiot, if he is good it will have nothing to do with his colour…what is it with you Dutch..learn to spell, get yourself educated and do not embarrass a fine club like Arsnal by proffering your support…fool!!

Jokin aside, who do you all rate more? Afobe or Aneke? Who can have a future with the club? Ozyakup for example seemed a classy player, potentially a very good midfielder in the making and now, he is in Turkey. If we get Niang, what does the future hold for this lad? Afobe has come on leaps and bounds on former loan though, his general play seemed to improve a lot.

Seriously why is this Dutchgooner continually being allowed to post on this site? Not only are his statements offensive, they’re also incredibly stupid. Think the administrator needs to sort this issue out ASAP
