Arsenal, along with several other clubs, are monitoring the progress of Le Havre youth star Jules Ntcham.
The 15-year-old midfielder has been likened to former Chelsea defender Marcel Desailly and is regarded as one of the brightest prospects of France’s Under-16 squad, which he has captained on several occasions.
Chelsea, Manchester City, Inter Milan and Juventus are all supposedly keeping tabs on the 5’10” teenager.
Ntcham is known to be a complete midfielder, one that can dictate play, hassle opponents and has excellent passing distribution and strength.
If he has been compared to Desailly, as reported, and is being tracked by some top clubs already, as reported, then Ntcham has the potential to go on and achieve great things and become a big player in the future.
We’ll have to wait and see what transpires, but I reckon a bidding war will ensue in the upcoming months and if he is a hot prospect for the future, then I hope Arsene Wenger manages to snap him up!
