Anderlecht will offer forgotten Gunner Park Chu-Young an escape route out of Arsenal this summer, according to reports in Belgium.

The 26-year-old South Korean star joined Arsenal in the summer, but has only managed to appear six times for the north London club and play just six minutes of Premier League football so far this season.

Belgium newspaper La Derniere Heure suggests Anderlecht will make an offer for the former Monaco striker and may also try to lure out-of-form forward Marouane Chamakh to the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium.

Despite recent news claiming Park’s compulsory military service has been delayed for 10 years, Arsene Wenger may be willing to listen to offers for the South Korean captain and cut his losses, with Anderlecht reportedly ready to make a swoop for him in the summer.

Personally, I wouldn’t shed a tear if both Park and Chamakh were to depart The Emirates, just as long as we acquire adequate replacements.

If a decent offer comes in for Park and Wenger feels he won’t make it at Arsenal, then in all fairness he should let him go. He needs regular first team games to further his career, something he has not achieved to date at Arsena.
