Arsenal have once again been linked with a summer move for Sochaux playmaker Marvin Martin, according to Italian football website Tuttomercatoweb.com.
The 24-year-old has risen to prominence over the past two seasons at the Stade Auguste Bonal, bagging five goals and 23 assists in 73 Ligue 1 appearances.
However, this season the France international hasn’t hit the heights he has done in previous campaigns, managing to only find the net once and assist three goals in 22 league games for Sochaux so far this season.
The Gunners were linked with Martin, who is known for his creativity, technique and vision, last summer and during the January transfer window, but the midfield maestro opted to stay with the French side at least until the end of the season.
It is thought that Arsene Wenger will once again attempt to lure the Paris-born star to The Emirates when the transfer window re-opens and could acquire him for as little as £11 million due to a supposed release clause in his current deal which runs out in 2014.
