SEVEN things you SHOULD know about Sunderland v Arsenal

|

Here are 7 things you should know about Sunderland and Arsenal prior to kick-off this afternoon:

1. Sunderland are flying high under Martin O’Neill and will be looking to add to their three game winning streak this weekend against a pumped up Arsenal side which slaughtered a powerless Blackburn 7-1 last Saturday.

2. Sunderland have won their previous five of their last six Premier League fixtures.

3. According to EA SPORTS Player Performance index, Stephane Sessegnon has completed the fourth most dribbles this season with 68.

4. As well as dribbles, Sessegnon has been central to Sunderland’s attempts at goals with 9 assists. Only David Silva and Charlie Adam have had more.

5. Sessegnon appears to be key to Sunderland’s performances as of late, clocking up an impressive 131 miles in total so far this season, which comes to about 5.4 miles per game, according to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index

6. Robin Van Persie is to be feared by Sunderland, as the Dutchman netted three against Blackburn last weekend. RVP still remains at the top of EA SPORTS Player Performance Index.

7. According to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index, Mikel Arteta has completed the third most passes in the opposition half in the Premier League so far this season with 810, with a pass being completed every 2.5 minutes.
