Arsene Wenger wants to keep Theo Walcott at Arsenal, amid reports of renewed interest from Serie A outfit Juventus.

The Italian club have long been linked with the 22-year-old speedy winger and having lost the services of both Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri in the summer, Wenger vows that he will fight to keep Walcott from leaving the Emirates.

‘We want to keep Theo and he knows that. Of course [he earns his money] he works every day and works very hard.

‘His attitude is great, I have no problems with that at all.’

Chelsea and Barcelona have also been linked with the England star, whose current contract with the Gunners runs out in 2013.

It’s believed that there has been several formal meetings with Walcott’s representatives over a new deal, but no formal offer, as of yet, has been made by Arsenal.
