Lyon left-back Aly Cissokho has put Arsenal on alert by claiming he would like to play his football in England.
The French international, 24, could be the ideal signing for Arsenal with Arsene Wenger so short of options following an injury to Andre Santos that Francis Coquelin fill in at full-back during the Gunners’ 2-1 defeat to Fulham.
Cissokho recently stated:
‘This week, I will speak with the Lyon staff. I reckon I prefer England, but for now, there is nothing done.’
Cissokho has played 27 times for Lyon this season, assisting 4 goals.
