Arsenal loanee Carlos Vela is unwilling to discuss his future at the Emirates.

The 22-year-old, who is currently on loan with La Liga club Real Sociedad, has struggled to cement first-team football at Arsenal and as such sealed yet another loan deal away from the north London outfit in order to play regularly and develop his talent further.

When asked about his on-going situation at Arsenal by Mexican reporters, Vela evaded the question:

‘I definitely want to recover and develop my football.’

It seems as if Vela’s time at Arsenal looks to be coming to an end, especially after sealing his FOURTH temporary move away from the club.

I personally hope he is given a chance somewhere down the line by Wenger, but I just can’t see it happening, which is a shame as I think the Mexican international has the potential to be a big star at Arsenal.

Vela has bagged 1 assist in 4 appearances for Real Sociedad so far this season.

I agree ,as I think he has been copletely misused at Arsenal. I think Wenger’s failure to adapt or change formations ahs made it easier to defend the Gunners. Vela in my mind had a better first touch then Bendtner and is more accurate with more pace. Same situation with Theo who should be in front of Van Persie not on the wing. I wish Vela well.

He was also miles better than theo in his first couple of seasons at arsenal, but because theo was playing on the wing, and vela was up front, he had fewer chances, and with the new 4-3-3 formation, vela was never going to do well at arsenal. I still think we might switch back to 4-4-2, and vela might have a future up front for us, given bendtner’s desire to leave, chamakh’s lack of form and park’s short life-span (due to his military service).
