Moussa Sow recently announced that he is unsure whether he will stay at Lille as contract negotiations have reached a stalemate, with Arsenal and Tottenham reportedly keeping an eye on the situation.

The striker was quoted on talkSPORT.com saying:

‘Now in my head I do not know what will happen at the end of the season. I honestly can not tell if I am going to go or stay. As things stand I am the type of player who wants to talk on the pitch.’

Sow finished top goal scorer last season in Ligue 1 with an impressive 25 goals, which ultimately led to a lot of speculation arising about his future at the French club.

When asked by French publication L’Equipe if talks over a new deal were ongoing, The Senegal international replied:

‘Talks about an extension? We have not talked since the summer.’

It could be that Sow may follow Gervinho out of Lille and head to the Emirates to be reunited with his former team-mate – it would certainly be a boost for the Ivorian and Arsenal as well to have another prolific striker on board.
