Arsenal and Fiorentina are set to do battle for Padova starlet Ousmane Drame, according to talkSPORT.
The 19-year-old is rated as one of the brightest talents in Italy and has attracted several European clubs with his impressive displays for Padova in Serie B.
However, according to reports in Italy, Arsenal and Fiorentina are leading the chase for the young attacking midfielder’s signature this January.
It is believed that Arsene Wenger sent scouts to Drame’s last two games for Padova to see the French youth in action, while Fiorentina are reportedly keeping tabs on the player.
Padova are understood to be desperate to keep Drame, who has netted 1 goal in 4 games so far this season for the Serie B side, at the club. However, should a sizeable offer be tabled for the youngster’s services when the transfer window re-opens in January, then the Italian outfit may have no choice but to relinquish their prized asset.
