Arsenal legend convinced Nasri to quit Arsenal for City

According to Samir Nasri, Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira, who is now the football development executive at City, convinced the 24-year-old Frenchman to leave the Emirates and join the Etihad outfit:

‘Patrick Vieira made a big difference. He’s a legend and in France everyone loves and respects him. When a player like this who has played for Arsenal, Inter Milan and Juventus tells you City is the place to be because they’re the club of the future, they want to win everything and have a big project, you have to listen.’

Well my thought is that Arsenal fans should attempt to steal Patrick Vieira’s mobile phone and tell him to go take a long walk off a short pier.

Nasri has disappointed a number of Arsenal fans with several comments he has made in recent weeks and, in my opinion, I think he was trying to make himself a hated figure at the club that made him the player that he is today so that he could force a move away.

As for his claims that Man City fans are more passionate than us, well we will show you exactly how passionate we can be when we come up against City later on in the season, these being on the 17th of December and then at the Emirates at the 7th of April 2012.

Can’t wait till we play against City, I hope we give them an absolute thrashing and then to see the look on Nasri’s face would be priceless. Way to go Nasri, calling Arsenal fans “disrespectful” what about you being eager to find out if an approach from Man Utd was “concrete or not”, is that not being disrespectful to the same fans who sang your name in praise when you played for their club? Is that what you call a lack of passion you blood sucking leech?! As for Patrick Vieira, legend…. screw you for saying City are bigger than Arsenal.

the passion of the arsenal fans are only on the forum where they can hide and insult the player, but in their stadium they are very quite and docile.

This statement should never be repeated again “I think he was trying to make himself a hated figure at the club that made him the player that he is today”. Arsenal did not make Nasri, he made himself. Ask yourself this question, why didn’t Arsenal make Denilson or Bendtner or Almunia or Carlos vela? He did not start his football career at Arsenal. Arsenal saw a youthful prospect and bought him
