It appears the champagne needs to be put back on ice, as it appears out-of-favour Denilson is already plotting a return to Arsenal next season.
Earlier this week, the 23-year-old Brazilian told Sky Sports:
‘I miss London, I miss Arsenal, I lived there for five years, it’s a long time for me. But I think next season I’ll be back.’
So Deni, who has gone back to Sao Paolo on a season long loan, appears to want a return to the Emirates after his temporary move to Brazil expires – really? The guy who was desperate to leave now can’t wait to come back from his loan spell – what’s going on here.
To be honest, I thought he would have got the hint already. He isn’t a regular at Arsenal and probably never will be – he just isn’t needed anymore at the Emirates.
As you can tell, I don’t rate Denilson highly and believe our club would be better off if he was off our books permanently.
