Arsene Wenger has remained true to his policy of investing in youth, as he is on the verge of signing one of Europe’s brightest prospects in Kristoffer Olsson.
The 16-year-old Swedish midfielder, is close to signing for the London club from IFK Norrkopings after impressing in two trial spells at the Emirates.
The news was confirmed by the teen’s current club, with sporting director Tony Martinsson happy for the starlet.
He told Fotbolldirekt.se.:
‘I can confirm that the transfer is close to being sealed. I won’t comment on any sums, but of course we are happy with the deal.’
‘We are pleased, but of course we would have preferred to have seen Kristoffer stay in Norrkoping and evolve to a first-team player. He wanted to take this chance and we will not stand in the way.’

This man sa with kids may God help us o.
Looks like a young Bendtner, haha! The original is too old for us now. I hope he becomes a great player Arsenal, assuming he doesn’t get home sick or tired of almost winning trophies! Wenger continues to opt for inexperienced young players while sticking with not so good experienced players. C’mon Wenger, when you said you’d be busy this summer, this isn’t what we envisioned!
arsen wenger is just crazy, u guys shud leav him alone to rot in his insanity
Here comes another season with nothing guys.its just pathetic wenger.your ar just plain stubborn
Nothing at all wrong with signing young prospects as long as we bring in some experienced players for the 1st team. Who knows some of these youngsters could turn out to be world class stars. Fabregas was the same age when he came to Arsenal can’t see anyone complaining about him (apart from the ‘back to Barca’ episodes).
Is Arsenal belongs to AW only? Ere men yeshalale yehen hodam manager ande belut
i will pop-up a whisky, if wenger resign now,and his landmark @ arsenal was written on WATER
