Mirko Vucinic’s agent has reportedly been in England to hold talks with Arsenal and Manchester United over a possible transfer this summer, according to Sky Sport 24.
The 27-year-old, who netted 11 goals in 38 appearances in all competitions for Roma last season, is believed to be unhappy at the lack of first-team opportunities at the Serie A club and is reportedly keen to secure a move way from the Stadio Olimpico this summer.
The Montenegro international has been linked with Liverpool, Tottenham and Blackpool in the past, but it would appear that the striker would favour a move to either United or Arsenal this summer. However, both Premier League clubs could be put off by the hefty £26 million price-tag.
The Gunners are thought to be in the market for a striker this summer, but surely Vucinic, considering his age and especially his price-tag, is not the way to go – would be a waste of money in my view.

ok..for me waste of money,base on his age. Better we use that sort of money for benzema if we really wanted for a one time expensive player. His still young and on level with vucinic, means he can develop further with time on his side. or we just spend that 16 or 17 fee and go buy cahill (coz i think samba a done deal), half of it we can keep for other purpose. So we would have samba and cahill altogather..

Not worth discussing as this is not even remotely going to happen at that type of fee. Even if Roma are interested in Clichy and he’s part of any deal they’d have to come off their fee for Vucinic.

Providing he’ll accept wages of 120k per week I think he’ll be an awesome addition to the squad of time wasters we already have. With customary fashion, we can discover he’s made of glass and will play only 7 games a season.
