Samir Nasri would snub a move to Manchester United this summer, according to the Official Arsenal Magazine.

The 23-year-old midfielder, who has only one-year left on his existing Gunners deal, has been heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates this summer after stalling on a new contract.

As a result of this, Nasri has been continually linked with a move to Old Trafford. However, despite talk of interest from the Red Devils, in an interview with the Official Arsenal Magazine, the Frenchman dropped a massive hint that he would reject a move to the Premier League champions:

‘I don’t want last season to be just a one-off. I want to continue playing at my best and be consistent at the level I was at the start of last season. This is the difference between a good player and a great player – and I know the expectations will be higher on me too.’

Nasri’s agent, Alain Migliaccio, recently claimed that his client’s main priority is to agree a new deal with the Gunners, despite ongoing negotiations:

Nasri’s representative Alain Migliaccio explained that there has been no break with Arsenal over contract negotiations.

‘Before listening to other teams, we need and we want to talk with Arsenal.’

Let’s just hope that this ‘situation’ is concluded sooner rather than later…whatever the result may be.

How does that show in any way that he’d prefer Arsenal over Man U? All he says is that he will perform well wherever he ends up!

The dragging is beyond anyone’s comprehension. Is Nasri or his agent is asking for 200k per week for new contract? No wonder Flamini did not extend his contract with Arsenal and probably get higher wages at Milan(and won the Serie A title last season after 3rd season while Arsenal is still trophless for six seasons).
