The end of Theo Van Nasregas?

Arsene Wenger’s rebuilding drive starts with the apparent arrivals of Gervinho and Ricky Alvarez.

With these deals ‘In the bag’, where does this leave Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas?

The arrival of both players would put Sam’s attacking role in a 4-3-3 formation under threat, and could be the opportunity for Wenger to either revert to back to a 4-4-2, or push Sam back into his preferred central midfield role. Either way, this would put Nasri and Cesc in competition for a position along side Jack ‘Arsenal DNA’ Wilshere. This then could be the opportunity that Fabregas is looking for to ease his way back to Barca (fee permitting) without too much fuss or disruption. Or, Arsene could stand firm against Barca and Cesc, and sell Nasri to the highest bidder, saving us from the humiliation of seeing him leaving on a free next summer!

Either way, if this is the start of the rebuilding process, Theo Van Nasregas could be no more!
