Fans put Denilson up for sale on eBay

Some Arsenal fans want Denilson to leave the club so badly that they have jokingly put the Brazilian midfielder up for sale on eBay, according to talkSPORT.

The midfielder, who barely gets a game for the Gunners these days, appears to have finally grown tired of the lack of first-team opportunities at Arsenal, as well as their trophy drought, and is reportedly seeking a move away from the Emirates this summer…thank goodness for that!

At approximately 1:30pm this afternoon ‘Arsenal Player – Denilson: Crab footballing machine!’ had a high bid of £10,100 with 6 hours remaining to bid.

Here is what the description of the ‘product’ read:

‘He has 160+ games on the clock, but don’t worry, at no time was this player ever over exerted. In fact, he’s so easy going, even podgy middle aged referee’s breeze past him in important games.’

‘He’s technically sound, literally never seems to get injured, passes sideways with precision and vigour and would be perfect for a team that requires a slow defensive midfielder that is less mobile than a beached oil tanker.’

‘He’s the master of the 3ft pass and he is powerful like a bull. If you thought the invisible wall of Gilberto was great, this guy is literally invisible for the full 90 minutes!’

‘Ideally we’re looking to shift him onto a buyer who can supply him with trophies next season, failing that, anyone who can make a more suitable offer than a used vacuum cleaner bag and two pieces of whole grain toast.’

It’s a great idea. However, I still think £10,100 is too much for his services…

    best post for weeks

    Arsenal4life.
    In the league:
    Denilson – 6 starts 10 sub
    Bendtner – 3 starts 14 sub
    Eboue – 8 stars 5 sub
    Vela – 0 sub 3 bench

So these right here are the players you blame for us not succeeding, players who didn’t even start 10 matches,
why don’t you go and blame Wilshere Fabregas Nasri RVP walcot, the players who actually started, for not wining anything.

If you are a real Arsenal fans and watched all the matches, you would realise that it was the 2nd team all Eboue and…. that got us into the Carling Cup finals, then we ditched them for the Wilshere’s RVP and Nasri… and look at what happened, why didn’t we just leave them to the play the finals that they got us into,

Same as FA CUP they got us all the way to Man U, then we ditched them for the stars and look at what happened, so why don’t you fans go and pick on and blame the people who started 40 matches for the reason why we lost and not people who barely played 10 matches

Dodo, where do I start with your ‘analysis’? To be honest, I can’t be bothered. In the words of Denny Crane, you’re a moron. Eboué, Denílson and Bendtner would hardly keep us in the Premier League, let alone win us trophies. Can someone more sober please help destroy this deluded Gooner’s arguments? Thanks

  • Le Boss says:

Actually I think dodo has a point. All we Gooners ever do is look 4 someone 2 blame n unfortunately the victims of our frustrations aren’t alwys the ones who actually deserve it. Fabregas’ silly pass and RvP’s dismissal (however unfair) cost us progress in CL, Szczesny n Koscielny cost us the carling cup, poor defending (where Eboue rarely featured) cost us the league and the FA cup…? well, let’s jus blame that on Arsene’s poor tactics. All am tryna say is we’re takin out our frustrations on the wrong guys. Yes, they’re flops (we all kno that) bt not the reason why we sucked last season…

    Not funny

    Not classy

Not worthy behaviour to be associated with Arsenal football club

  • gooner says:

dodo, your an idiot. the reason we didnt beat man utd and birmingham is because we were playign barca who im pretty sure our b team wouldnt be able to. Also a players had to come and save us loosing to leeds and leyton orient and going out of fa cup.
