Arsenal dealt huge blow as Lille starlet ‘will not be sold for any price’

|

Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham have been told by Lille President Michel Seydoux not to bother bidding for Belgian sensation Eden Hazard this summer, insisting the 20-year-old is not for sale at any price.

Arsenal have been heavy linked with the Belgian international for quite sometime now, but the newly crowned Ligue 1 champions remain adamant that their prize asset will not be leaving the club this summer.

Michel Seydoux was recently quoted in the French press saying:

‘Eden is not available for transfer.’

‘We have met, and the decision is that it he will not be sold for any price.’

‘We have won two trophies this season and have a project we are working on. Hazard is included in this plan and is an integral part of it. That is why he will not be leaving.’

This will undoubtedly come as a huge blow to Arsene Wenger, who is a keen admirer of the youngster’s talent, and especially with Samir Nasri’s future still in some doubt.

Without a doubt, Hazard would have made an excellent addition to the squad, but it appears (for the time being anyway) that he is not for sale at any price. Besides, why would the Lille starlet want to leave the French club after securing Champions League football with them?

Maybe this transfer will be possible during next summer’s window, but for now, it seems highly impossible.

Oh well, on to the next one Wenger.

Money talks, I’m sure if Wenger offers the right amount of money for him then their owner will sign him. Also if the player wants to leave then I can’t see the owner stopping him.

If we don’t get him then we’ll have to look else where for players.
