Arsenal have rejected an £8 million offer from Bayern Munich for Bacary Sagna, according to talkSPORT.
German newspaper, Bild, claim the Gunners told the Bavarian giants that the offer is ‘insufficient’ for the 28-year-old France international.
However, Arsenal could be willing to do business with the Bundersliga outfit if they were to come back with an improved offer nearer the £15 million mark for the full-back, who is also being tracked by Serie A sides Juventus and Roma.
Sagna signed for the Gunners back in 2007 from Auxerre in a deal worth approximately £11 million.
£8 million for Sagna’s services is certainly, as Bild reported, ‘insufficient’. However, if Bayern were to table an offer in the £15 million region for the Frenchman this summer, then surely the North London club should consider it.

Uhmm I think sagna is worth alot more and I think they should not consider any offers atleast for 1 year more.

This past season he was their best back.
I think that was a ridiculous offer from Bayern Munich, if they came in with an offer of 15-20 million I think Wenger should consider.
Lets face it Sagna is not all that, he needs to work on his positioning and his ball distribution. We all know that the defence has cost us a lot of points this season, and he has been the main culprit for some of the points we lost. A prime example is the 3-3 draw against Tottenham, the third goal in particular, a pass was played to Lennon down Sagna’s wing, he was out of position and eventually Szczesny brought Lennon down. This resulted in the referee giving a penalty.
I think personally there are better options, sell Sagna for 15-20 million and bring in Gregory van der Wiel for the price Sagna is sold at. He is very talented and a much better player in general. If you don’t believe me then check him out for yourself.
You don’t need to sell everybody even if we are to bring in new players. It’s usually good to have a gradual change or transition. Remember selling many at once is what resulted in this current era of a squad with no role model to learn from.
what is 8 million? he is worth at least 25! He is the best RB after Dani Alves (his defending is the best but alves’attickingskills are way better)
8mil is a joke! We don’t need to sell and we don’t want to sell. Unless they make us an offer we can’t refuse, otherwise, never gonna happen.
No way, we should listen to anything less than 25mil.
Also, he loves Arsenal, he’s a gunner. Never want to see him leave.
