It was reported this week that new Arsenal owner, Stan Kroenke, will hand Arsene Wenger a £40 million transfer kitty this summer in order to bolster the current squad for next season’s campaign.
However, renowned for his strict transfer policies and tight spending, it seems almost certain that the Frenchman will resist temptation, and ultimately not splash the cash, even though a number of the clubs fans would like to see him do so this summer. Obviously this is yet to be seen, but it appears highly likely if history is anything to go by.
So I ask – If you were in Wenger’s position and had £40 million at your disposal this summer, who would you look to acquire?

We cant just spend money.. we have to think further than one season.. look at tottenham,chelsea they got like 6new managers in 5years al managers have spent like 30m each.. Arsenal same manager who doesnt spend money WE DONT HAVE!!! Last ten years clubs have spend more then all clubs done in 100yers before!!!

almost perfect list. But, I would not sell either Arshavin or Chamakh.
When these two are on form, they are brilliant. We have seen this from Arshavin over the years, against Barcelona, etc., and Chamakh at the beginning of the season. Really the only reason anyone is saying get rid of him is because RVP is back fit. He was vital to our season at the start of the year, and did very well for a free transfer. Keep them both.
If Kronke is going to give Wenger 40m doesn,t that tell you thatis different to what the situation has been Wenger has had a budget of 15M there has been no choice Kronke might throw 50/60 but he isn,t rich enough to be a Sugar Daddy with 1.5B the other guy is i hope Kronke sells to Usmanov
