It was reported this week that new Arsenal owner, Stan Kroenke, will hand Arsene Wenger a £40 million transfer kitty this summer in order to bolster the current squad for next season’s campaign.
However, renowned for his strict transfer policies and tight spending, it seems almost certain that the Frenchman will resist temptation, and ultimately not splash the cash, even though a number of the clubs fans would like to see him do so this summer. Obviously this is yet to be seen, but it appears highly likely if history is anything to go by.
So I ask – If you were in Wenger’s position and had £40 million at your disposal this summer, who would you look to acquire?

The new owner should get rid of Wenger as the first order of business. There is no point putting new wine in old wineskins. Wenger’s time is over and so are old philosophies that do not win trophies. In with the new, out with the old!
Wenger can go and teach philosophy wherever he wants and leave Arsenal in the hands of a manager whose sole purpose in life is to win trophies not to be a philosopher or whatever Wenger thinks he is
He has already stated that no money will be spent. We will do it his way (THE WAY IT DOESNT WORK) This guy is an absolute JOKE….

stan should hands on the money with a circumstance that it will be spend on buying player and not a single penny left end of the transfer season. And make it mandatory for Wenger…if any amount is left from the kitty then wenger monthly salary should be cut to 90%…lol
Its a philosophy which means we win it our way, a way in which we buy what we can, we play the way we do, and when we win it, it will be done in a way no club in professional football has been able to do.
Football clubs have never been profitable and yet won titles. fact. But if arsenal manage to win titles they would defy all football odds.
theres a reason why money buys you a few titles. wengers way has not worked yet, it could work, but depends on the supporters and how long they can live with his philosophy

sell bendtar or chamak aswell another 15m and spend 25m on falcao hulk benzama(maybe to expensive) or alex oxlade chamberlainn and carl jenkinson
he’ll use all 40 to buy a bunch of 16-17 year olds that may play on the team in the 2016 campaign.

Are you guys dumb or something? the writer is not saying whether or not Wenger will spend the cash or not, he is asking what his READERS would do with the money if they were in the Frenchman’s position.
