Can Arsenal beat United in the F.A Cup at Old Trafford today? 5/2 says they can

|

Arsenal travel to Old Trafford this afternoon to take on Manchester United in the F.A Cup quarter-finals, which no doubt promises to be an intense encounter between the top two sides in the Premier League. But who will come out on top?

Fergie’s men have been left reeling after suffering two consecutive losses in the Premier League to Chelsea and Liverpool.

However, United will be hoping to get back to winning ways against an Arsenal side whose confidence has been rocked in the past couple of weeks.

Arsene Wenger’s side have endured a terrible March so far, which could potentially worsen with a loss at Old Trafford today. The Gunners, who were chasing an historic quadruple just 13 days ago, have now been left in just two competitions, which have left pundits contemplating if the North London side are truly capable of ending their trophy drought this season. Wenger has already stated the importance of today’s game by saying a win against their arch-rivals would prove to be vital in terms of their season, but can they achieve a victory this afternoon?

Arsenal will be without goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny and captain Cesc Fabregas, as well as Theo Walcott and Alex Song, whilst Manchester United will miss Rio Ferdinand in defence and Nani on the wing.

Bet365 have placed United as favourites to come out triumphant today at 11/10, whilst Arsenal have been given a 5/2 shot at beating the Red Devils.

Considering these two sides love to attack and play football the right way, this game is bound to be filled with goal-mouth action. However, I believe these two teams will be equally matched this afternoon, so I will be going for a 1-1 draw and Robin Van Persie to score anytime time at 14/1.
