Alexis Sanchez could make a shock move across London to join Chelsea, according to Bookies.
The Chilean striker has 18 months left to run on his existing contract at the Emirates and negotiations over a new deal to keep him at the club beyond 2018 are reportedly at a halt.
It is believed Sanchez, who has netted 14 goals in 23 total appearances so far this season for the Gunners, is demanding upwards of £300,000-a-week which Arsenal are reluctant to offer.
The lack of contract progression has led to speculation that Sanchez is ready to call it quits at Arsenal and there will be no shortage of potential suitors for his signature should he leave, with Chelsea, Juventus, Manchester City all keen as well as Chinese Super League club Hebei China Fortune reportedly ready to offer him a monster salary of £500,000-a-week.
Ladbrokes has Sanchez at 2/1 to leave Arsenal with contract talks stalling, but Chelsea, as reported by The Daily Star, are favourites to land him at 4/1, with Manchester City in the market at 6/1.
Ladbrokes spokesman Alex Apati said:
‘The Gunners are misfiring, and the latest odds suggest their two main men are edging ever closer to an Emirates exit.’
