According to Spanish media outlet Don Balon (via The Daily Express,) Arsenal are interested in signing Sergio Aguero from Manchester City.
The Argentine has been at City since 2010 in which time he has become a fan favourite and won the Premier League title twice but his future at the club has been reportedly put in doubt after seeing himself dropped by Pep Guardiola in recent weeks.
The striker was left out of City’s starting XI for the Champions League tie away at Barcelona, a game in which they lost 4-0 and he only came on in the second half, sparking rumours of a rift.
The report from The Daily Express suggests that, because of recent events, Arsenal as well as Tottenham and Chelsea from the Premier League and PSG and Real Madrid outside of this country are all waiting in the wings to make an offer.
Arsenal did sign Lucas Perez in the summer as another striking option but have so far used Alexis Sanchez up front most this season.
