Despite confirming a deal to move to Dortmund at the end of the season from Borrusia Monchengladbach earlier in the week, German international Marco Reus could still make a big-money switch to Arsenal in the near future.
Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Arsenal were all believed to be interested in the 20-year-old playmaker before agreeing a £14.5 million move to German outfit Dortmund, thus ending speculation about his immediate future.
However, the trio may decide to rekindle their interest in Reus after reports in Germany claim that a €30 million (£24.7 million) buy-out clause comes in to effect in 2014.
Reus signed a five-year deal with Dortmund, which runs out in 2017, meaning the German champions will be in line to make a massive profit on his services, but will however be unable to block a move should the clause be met in the near future.
