Arsenal fans have been responding to the club’s goal of the month contenders for September on Twitter and some have put forward the suggestion that Bayern Munich’s Serge Gnabry should pick up the monthly accolade.
The former Gunners’ youngster scored four goals during the German side’s 7-2 victory against hated neighbours Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday.
Gnabry, 24, spent five years at the Emirates and score just one goal in 18 appearances for the first team as a youngster. He also had a loan spell at West Bromwich Albion before being sold to Werder Bremen in 2016.

The former Arsenal midfielder was heavily requested to win the award and tweeted “North London is Red” after the thrashing as Munich asserted their dominance in the area after beating the Gunners 5-1 at the Emirates in 2017.
