Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is currently not a priority for AC Milan, according to Calciomerato.com journalist Federico Albrizio.
The Welsh international remains at loggerheads with the Gunners over a new deal with reports suggesting the player is demanding double his current £110,000 a week wages, but even his current salary could prove too much for the Rossoneri to match.
However, things could change if Ramsey’s negotiations with Arsenal drag on into the New Year. For the time being, Milan are prepared to sit tight and monitor developments, but if no agreement is reached, the Serie A club may then make a move for the player.
The 27-year-old has been at the club for almost eight years and has figured prominently in new Gunners manager Unai Emery’s plans so far this season.
Arsenal’s head coach has picked Ramsey to start in four of the first five Premier League matches since he has taken charge of the club.
