Arsenal have been incredibly active in the transfer market so far, signing three new players with another two right around the corner, but Unai Emery’s side continue to be linked to further additions.

The Gunners have been linked with long-term interest in Bordeaux ace , stretching back to the January transfer window following Alexis Sanchez’s move to Manchester United, but they could miss out in the market to their arch-rivals.

The Sun claims Tottenham Hotspur lead the chase for the Brazil starlet but he could cost as much as £45m due to Bordeaux’s valuation of the 21-year-old, which has already led Inter Milan to cool their interest in the South American.

Malcom bagged 12 goals in 38 games last season and is widely regarded to be one of the finest young talents in European football and, due to his price-tag, Arsenal may have difficulties completing a deal if they are to adhere to UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations.
