Arsenal are braced for wholesale changes this summer as they seek to bolster a squad that has underperformed this season and we could see Sven Mislintat provide an impact yet again.
The former Borussia Dortmund man played a huge part in Arsenal’s January transfer dealings, where Henrikh Mkhitaryan arrived from Manchester United and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was drafted in from Dortmund for a club-record fee.
Mislintat, Arsenal’s new Head of Recruitment, certainly has a big task on his hands this summer and The Daily Mail states he’s ready to push Hector Bellerin out of the door for a £50m fee, then using that money to sign three new players.
The Arsenal chief is eyeing a new goalkeeper to replace Petr Cech, a central defender to bolster the back-line and a holding midfielder to operate in the centre of the field, whilst the club are also on the look out for a long-term replacement for the ageing Nacho Monreal.
Arsenal have been linked to the likes of Jonny Evans, Mohamed Elyounoussi and Alban Lafont in recent weeks, all of whom would slot into the side nicely.
