Konstantinos Mavropanos
A surprise January addition, 20-year-old Konstantinos Mavropanos is yet to make his Arsenal debut and a decision was made in the mid-season to keep him with the first-team, rather than send him on-loan elsewhere to earn experience.
Opportunities this season are unlikely to come Mavropanos’ way, due to the exit from the FA Cup and the importance of the Europa League campaign, but a clash against Osterstunds, with a 3-0 advantage already secured, is the ideal chance for the Greek defender to earn a taste of action.
It’s unlikely that Mavropanos would start on Thursday evening but even an opportunity off the bench would be beneficial for the young defender, as well as giving the fans an idea of what to expect from him.
