Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan may still stay with the Catalan club after his agent revealed that he has yet to reach an agreement with any team that are interested in signing the Turkish international.

Ahmet Bulut revealed last week that he was in talks with four clubs, and expected Arda to be moving clubs within “fifteen days” but it seems that discussions with those teams have not gone well. Speaking to TRT Spor (translated by Goal.com), Bulut explained the current state of affairs:

“We’re troubled with Arda’s situation. He didn’t even get to play 10 minutes. We respect Ernesto Valverde, but I can’t understand how can he assess a player whom he doesn’t put on the field. I’m having talks with several clubs regarding Arda, but I can’t name any of them. I’m trying to wrap this up by January, but if we can’t reach an agreement with any of the teams, he’ll stay at Barca. Arda scored 13 goals when Neymar was away injured. He plays hard when he gets a chance.”

Arda is yet to play a single minute of first team action for Barcelona this season, mostly due to a back problem and a foot injury. He is now said to be fit again, but his future at the Camp Nou remains uncertain.

Catalan publication Mundo Deportivo reported last week that Bulut had held talks with both Monaco and Arsenal about signing Arda. Negotiations with both teams are said to have not been positive, despite speculation increasing over the Turkish midfielder’s possible switch to the Gunners after the Barca star was pictured in London.
