Arsenal, along with Real Madrid, Manchester United and Manchester City, are keeping tabs on Real Betis midfielder Fabian Ruiz, according to Don Balon.

El Mundo journalist Eduardo Inda has reported that Real are the keenest to sign the 21 year old with the player having a €15million (£13.5m) buyout clause; similar to the one that allowed Dani Ceballos to make the switch from Betis to the Bernabeu in July.

Don Balon however say that the Champions League winners will have competition from Premier League teams for Ruiz. The playmaker has started this season in excellent form for Betis with one goal and two assists in four La Liga matches.

The midfielder made 18 appearances in Spain’s second division for Elche in the second half of last season during a six month loan spell. He scored one goal and contributed two assists during his time at the club, but he couldn’t help prevent them from being relegated to the third tier of Spanish football.
