Arsenal are running the risk of losing one of their brightest young prospects in Marcus McGuane, according to the Independent.
The England Under 18 international still hasn’t agreed a new contract despite his current deal expiring next summer, and there are a host of top European and English clubs looking to sign the 18 year old.
The Independent believe Juventus are currently heading the queue with Napoli, Manchester United and Manchester City all also monitoring McGuane’s contract situation.
The midfielder signed his first professional deal in February 2016 and he has just made the move up to Arsenal’s Under 23 side this season. He could however decide to leave in order to gain regular first team football instead, and there are clubs in the Championship willing to offer him such an opportunity.
McGuane has featured for England at both Under 17 and Under 18 levels over the past two years, and the Gunners will be keen to tie him down to a longer contract.
