Arsenal could look to replace Alexis Sanchez and Hector Bellerin with Brazilian pair Hulk and Danilo this summer, according to Don Balon (via Abola).
Sanchez has one year left on his contract at the Emirates and speculation has grown in recent days about a switch to either Bayern Munich or Manchester City. Bellerin in contrast has six years to run on his current deal after signing a new contract in November but the Catalan media are insistent that Barca will make every effort to sign the 22 year old this summer.
Their suggested replacements Hulk and Danilo would certainly not be of the same quality. Both have previously played together briefly at Porto but their careers have gone on different paths since then.
Hulk moved to Russia to play for Zenit St Petersburg in 2012 before moving to Shanghai in 2016, while Danilo made the switch to Real Madrid in the summer of 2015.
The right back has struggled to establish himself at the Bernabeu during his two year spell and is likely to depart this summer with a €20m price tag being mooted. Hulk meanwhile continues to score goals but he is now 30 years of age, and has never played in a major European league.
