Liverpool are reportedly preparing a £21.6million offer for Roma’s Leandro Paredes.
The Argentine midfielder has been in and out of Luciano Spalletti’s this season, starting just 10 Serie A games, with a further 12 coming on as a substitute.
The 22-year-old was reportedly on Arsene Wenger’s radar during the January transfer window as well as Jurgen Klopp’s but neither made a move for the midfielder.
However, according to Transfermarketweb.com, Liverpool are now planning to launch a £21.6million bid for the Roma player’s services when the summer transfer window opens.
Paredes joined Roma from Boca Juniors in 2014 and his contract with the Italian club does not expire until June 2019.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for Paredes in the past, and with reports suggesting Wenger is ready to offload several players in order to rebuild once again this summer, the Argentine may well be on the Frenchman’s thoughts.
