Despite being linked with the managerial job at SU Sintrense in recent days, Arsenal scout Luis Boa Morte is reportedly still undertaking his duties with the Gunners after being spotted at the match between Porto and Sporting Lisbon on Saturday evening.

O Jogo report that Boa Morte was there to keep an eye on Porto midfielder Danilo Pereira. The Portuguese international only recently signed a new deal at the Estadio do Dragao which increased his buyout clause from €40million to €60million but it doesn’t seem to have deterred Arsenal.

The 25 year old performed well in Porto’s 2-1 victory over their rivals, providing an assist for Francisco Soares to put the home side 2-0 up five minutes before half time.

Danilo has been a regular in the Porto side this season with 28 games played in all competitions, with two goals and one assist. His club are now nine points ahead of Sporting in third and just one point behind league leaders Benfica.
