Juventus join Arsenal in race for £34m Lyon man

|

Arsenal face competition from Juventus for reported midfield target Corentin Tolisso.

Italian source Calciomercato, as reported by talkSPORT, suggest the Serie A giants plan to fill the void left by Arturo Vidal in 2015 by bringing in the 22-year-old from Lyon.

Tolisso has been in impressive form for the Ligue 1 club so far this season, netting seven goals in 24 appearances, and has boosted his value as a result.

It’s understood Arsene Wenger is monitoring the Frenchman, with the player admitting back in October it would be a dream of his to play for a club like Arsenal.

Juventus have now entered the race, but the problem lies in Tolisso’s valuation. It’s thought his original price of £21 million has now risen to £34 million due to his fine displays for Lyon.

It remains to be seen whether Wenger will make a move for Tolisso, if so, it is more than likely to be at the end of the season.
