Barcelona still remain interested in signing Arsenal full back Hector Bellerin despite the Spaniard signing a new deal to stay at the Emirates, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Spanish newspaper say that Barca are considering the 21 year old, along with Valencia’s Joao Cancelo and Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich as possible solutions to their problem position at right back.
Sporting Director Robert Fernandez has reportedly been scouring Europe for the best right back talent. Luis Enrique has had to rely on midfielder Sergi Roberto to fill in this season after having serious doubts about full back Aleix Vidal.
Mundo Deportivo do however report that the Catalan club are aware that a move for Bellerin, and Kimmich especially, are very difficult, and therefore a move for Portuguese international Cancelo is a more likely option. They have also scouted other possible targets including Napoli’s Elseid Hysaj and Feyenood’s Rick Karsdorp who have also been linked with the Gunners.
