Hector Bellerin will be out of action for at least four weeks.
Arsene Wenger confirmed the news this morning as he looked forward to Saturday’s trip to Old Trafford and the chance to go nine points clear of Jose Mourinho’s side.
The Spanish defender has been in outstanding form recently but picked up an injury in the closing stages of the draw with Tottenham following a challenge from Danny Rose.
Bellerin was withdrawn from the Spanish u-21 side and will now miss a crucial stage of the domestic season as the Gunners attempt to build on their promising start to the season.

Carl Jenkinson will replace Bellerin on Saturday with Wenger planning to assess the fitness of Alexis Sanchez in training tomorrow before picking his side for Old Trafford.
Discussing his record against Mourinho Wenger side-stepped the issue pointing out that it is the team that his side will be facing- not the man in the dug-out.
