Arsenal are tracking a 16-year-old wonderkid Peter Gwargis who has been dubbed ‘the next Mesut Ozil’, according to the player’s agent.

The attacking midfielder currently plays for Husqvarna FF, and although he has not yet made his debut for the Swedish outfit, it’s understood that so big is his potential that he is already training with the first-team, despite his young age.

The teenager’s agent, Walid Faour, confirmed Arsenal’s interest, but also says there is interest from a couple of Dutch clubs as well:

‘Both Arsenal and PSV have sent invitations, but now Feyenoord are the most interested. I’m in Holland right now for a visit to Feyenoord with Peter Gwargis.

‘Peter has trained with both U17 and U19s. This is a left-footed offensive football player who many here believe will be a new Ozil.’

Arsene Wenger has been known in the past for spotting raw talent and developing their ability through the youth ranks at the Emirates. And with Gwargis being only 16-years-old, it means he has yet to sign a professional contract with Husqvarna FF, meaning Arsene Wenger could offer him a trial at Arsenal to see what the youngster has to offer in the potential and ability department.
